According to reports, Chelsea FC of England has told the Nigeria Football Federation that forward Victor Moses is injured and may not be available to feature in the forthcoming friendly matches against Senegal and Burkina Faso.
Moses, 26, limped off the pitch on Monday’s FA Cup quarter-final match against rivals Manchester United with a minor calf injury but passed a late fitness test to start in the 2 – 1 win against Stoke City. The winger played 70 minutes against Stoke before coming off for Spaniard Cesc Fabregas.
It was also gathered that despite the blue’s intervention, Moses is yet to officially withdraw from Super Eagle’s squad for the upcoming International friendlies against Senegal and Burkina Faso.
The Chelsea winger has scored three Premier League goals in 27 Premier League matches for the Blues this campaign.
