Derry City are mourning the loss of captain Ryan McBride.
Tributes are being paid to Derry City captain Ryan McBride, who has died suddenly at the age of 27.Local reports state the defender was found dead at his home close to the Candystripes' stadium on Sunday.The cause of death is unknown at this stage.
The Irish FA tweeted their condolences on Sunday night from their @OfficialIrishFA account, writing: "Thoughts tonight with the family of Ryan McBride and everyone involved with @derrycityfc"And PFA Ireland said:

Derry are currently second in the League of Ireland Premier Division table with four wins from four matches and McBride played on Saturday when they beat Drogheda 4-0.
