The inconsistent form of Man United players is causing the team more harm than good.The reason teams like Real Madrid,barca etc. excel is because they have a lot of consistent players.
We could remember very much last season that it was Anthony Martial who always found a way to bail out Louis Van Gaal side but he has greatly backslided this season that he has not even won favour from Mourinho let alone put his club on the right track.
Much has been said that it is because his shirt was taken away from him without being consulted but still it is not enough of a reason to have a really bad form.
After a first half in which Martial struggled to impress, United went in at the break level with West Ham, after Ashley Fletcher (former Man United player) rebounded goal. First he placed the ball at the top corner of the post from Mkhitaryan's pull back. Then he made it two goals after drifting off his marker to tap home Valencia's square pass.It really was exactly the kind of performance and goal scoring return he had desperately needed.
This is obviously just the first step for the French man. He will want and need to show he can turn United's opportunities into goals on a consistent basis in order to win Mourinho's eternal trust.
BUT IS HE REALLY BACK TO FORM?
